What is Witboost?

Witboost is a Data Management Platform designed to help companies define, manage, and govern their data landscape efficiently. It provides a structured environment where teams can implement best practices for data management while maintaining flexibility in their technological and organizational choices.

Witboost Modules​

Witboost is built around two main planes:

  • Control Plane: This plane enables teams to build and govern data projects using automation, templates, and computational policies. It includes:

    • Builder: A module for creating and managing data projects based on predefined templates, embedding best practices and governance compliance from the beginning.
    • Computational Governance: A module for enforcing policies, quality rules, and best practices at both deployment and runtime. Also providing data contracts enforcement in real-time.

  • Market Plane: This plane serves as the central hub for discovering, reviewing and consuming data projects. It allows users to:

    • Explore available data projects in a structured marketplace.
    • Request access to data assets to data projects owners
    • Leave feedback and ask questions to the data project team

Witboost implements shift-left governance, meaning checks are embedded in the data lifecycle from creation to deployment. This ensures that:
